The Age of Pisces has been an era of followers. We gave our political power over to elected officials, or in some cases dictators. We turned our healing power over to AMA-certified doctors who suppress symptoms and dispense drugs, but know nothing about healing. We relinquished the assurance of community for the illusory promises of insurance companies. We turned our minds over to a warped paradigm of inequality. We shrank our love down to romance and family. We gave our spiritual power to churches that promised us salvation if only we followed their rules and added to their coffers.
For over 2000 years we have allowed priests, ministers, rabbis and imams to intercede with the Divine while we relinquished our personal responsibility, along with our sovereignty, to “officials” who claimed to shepherd their flocks, and politicians who promised to serve our best interests.
This era is coming to an end, and slowly we are recognizing the consequences of our folly. Our institutions are rotting from within, tainted with greed and corruption. Our trust has been shattered and while we may feel betrayed, abandoned, disillusioned and perhaps fearful or enraged, the current chaos is providing us with the opportunity to reclaim our power and sovereignty.
As we transition into the Age of Aquarius, the only sign in the Zodiac dedicated to the whole of humanity, we witness the dissolution of civilization as we have known it, one that is no longer sustainable because it is based on the fallacy of separation and hierarchy. This paradigm has led us to the brink of extinction as our planet suffers from plunder and pollution. It has divided our humanity into haves and have nots, worthies and discards, predators and prey.
As a result we have lost our connection to each other and to all that is sacred. We have forgotten who we are. We have surrendered our power, choosing instead to create a homogenous society, because we were conditioned to believe in our dependence. But that is about to end. Not only are we entering the Aquarian Age, a phase of evolution that restores power to the people, but Uranus is on the verge of stripping our false conditioning, waking us up to reality and providing us with the energy, will and passion for self-rule.
The Great Awakening is just around the corner. Our paradigm is about to shift. On April 25th Uranus leaves the grounded sign of Taurus and lifts off into the open air of Gemini. No longer stuck in the mud, so to speak, Uranus will be free to fly into unknown territory.
Recent Messages from the Heavens
Before we move on to the upcoming energetic shift, I want to look at the recent astrological aspects and lunations. If you recall, we had a Blood Moon on March 3rd with the Sun conjunct Pallas Athena, goddess of wisdom, fierce warrior for justice, while the Moon was conjunct the dwarf planet Varuna which broadcasts the energy of sovereignty.
Wisdom has a lot to do with perception and perception originates with Mercury, the dispenser of information. It is enhanced by the sudden insights of Uranus, and lifted into galactic space by the dwarf planet Makemake, whose viewpoint from a higher octave opens our inner eyes to a much bigger picture, expanding our wisdom. These three planets are active now, awakening our minds to new realizations and serving the purpose of Varuna to bring us all into sovereignty. It’s time to release our dependence and stand in our own power.
At the New Moon on March 18th, retrograde Mercury was conjunct the North Node, gathering information about the future, adjusting our inner compass to get back on the right path and fulfill our evolutionary potential. We are constantly being shown the path forward as various themes arise for us to resolve and integrate. In Pisces, the North Node is guiding us to the realization of our Oneness. This insight equips us for the next stage of our development.
April kicked off with a Full Moon in Aries, conjunct, the dwarf planet Salacia, opposite the Moon in Libra which was conjunct Makemake and the USA natal Saturn. Interesting that Pam Bondi got the axe as themes of responsibility and justice emerged. Hard to believe that she wasn’t corrupt enough to satisfy our pres. Now he has hopes that his acting AG will move forward with his original plan to indict his legions of enemies. With Makemake present, more of us will see beyond his petty peeves to the corruption of justice in our country. This theme will continue to reveal injustice until the end of 2030 as this dwarf transits back and forth over our 10th House Saturn. One of the outcomes of this administration will be plugging the loopholes in our Constitution that will protect us from future despots. Makemake will be on hand to guide us. Hopefully another benefit will instill in all our citizens a sense of responsibility to replace the apathy that got us into this mess.
On April 9th Mercury leaves behind the retrograde shadow degrees and moves on into new territory. During the month of April, energies will build to a climax when Uranus enters Gemini.
Uranus
This explosive planet is about liberation. Try to hold that perspective – we are being freed from the past, and most importantly from our conditioning – because it will be a bumpy ride. Between now and April 25th, we will receive a series of shocks foreshadowing the upheaval of Uranus’ escape from Taurus into Gemini.
Uranus works through our nervous system. Over the past decade we have been bombarded by cosmic energy as our planet passes through the photon belt, as our Sun sends out flares which set our northern skies aflame, as comets appear out of nowhere and powerful planets align to assist our awakening. Our social order is disrupted on a daily basis. All of these influences create stress on our nervous systems as our personal lives and our bodies attempt to integrate change and our minds struggle to understand.
A few years ago a man named Ilya Prigogene won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his theory of dissipative structures. What he discovered under an electron microscope was the breakdown point of compound structures. As he turned up the heat of his Bunsen Burner, adding more energy to the beaker, he observed the chemical structure shifting. More and more space opened up in the pattern until the pattern exploded into spirals. He concluded that systems shift when they can no longer handle the overload of energy.
Think about our current situation. Shock after shock, beginning with 9/11, then a huge recession, followed by a pandemic and an insurrection in 2021. These shocks are accelerating. Every day we wait to see which new shoe will drop. The separation in our society has been widening for a decade or more, opening up space to accommodate more energy. It’s as if our civilization were a big balloon being overinflated. At what point does it pop? Uranus could be the instigator. Our social structures are disintegrating, causing great chaos – everyone spiraling out into their private universes. But the good news is that Chaos brings with it new possibilities, new opportunities to think outside the box. Order will return, but it won’t be the order we are used to. It will be up to us to create something new.
In the meantime, our job is to maintain our sanity, become the witnesses to this cosmic event, stay calm and centered and connected to the source of our inner strength. We must have faith in the cosmic plan, believe in ourselves and our purpose, trust that we are equipped to become the leaders within our own communities.
Jean Dixon
A couple of weeks ago a video turned up on my You Tube app about Jean Dixon, a visionary of the 20th century who successfully predicted future events, including the assassination of John F. Kennedy. She also had predictions for 2026 and her advice was stunning.
She said, “Those who can hold peace during the storm will become the natural leaders of the next era.” She went on to describe what we would experience. She outlined the symptoms of our evolving consciousness. She claimed that the collective unconscious will speak first, beginning with a dissatisfaction in our current status. We will have a sense that time is speeding up while simultaneously standing still.
On a personal level we will experience intensified dreams, vivid and emotionally charged, involving doors closing, bridges collapsing, authorities stepping down, old homes left behind, elevators malfunctioning, paths splitting, moments of choice when we don’t know the outcome.
I had a wonderful dream about being with my family of origin. My mother realizes our father isn’t there and she sends me to pick him up. I go into a building to get him. He gets in the car, and another driver takes off, leaving me behind. I laughed. Goodbye Patriarchy!
Second, we will experience emotional volatility without personal cause. We can become irritable, strangely sad for no immediate reason, have sudden bursts of hope followed by exhaustion. We may feel disconnected from things that once really mattered like our careers, beliefs, identities. We may feel burnout when in reality it’s the psyche shedding an old skin.
Third, time will feel distorted. Days will blur together, weeks feel compressed. Memories from our past will surface and feel more vivid than the reality we are in right now. Time perceptions shift when consciousness prepares to re-organize itself.
Fourth, people will begin feeling an inexplicable pull toward the truth – inner truth. Old belief systems will quietly collapse; authority will feel less convincing; people will be drawn to self-inquiry, spirituality, meditation and silence. We will seek our own truth. Dixon declared that when we stop outsourcing meaning, external control becomes impossible.
She suggested that the months leading up to November 2026 will feel simultaneously chaotic and strangely clarifying. (I would suggest Uranus has a hand in that.)
She said, “When leaders fall, it’s not because they fail, but because the consciousness that required them no longer exists.” Further on, “The collapse of ‘the golden man’ will not be the climax, but the catalyst, a sign of the shift that had already been underway for years.”
Finally she claimed that November will be the climax of the year, and will determine the trajectory of the next century. There will be a period of chaos from November ’26 into early ‘27. The old world will be gone but the new will not yet have manifested. She claimed we would be extremely vulnerable during this period because we would be tempted to return to old ways, old leaders; but we must not do that. We must hold to our dreams and visions of peace, goodwill prosperity and harmony. We can have this if we stand in our sovereignty.
I usually take predictions with a grain of salt, believing that life is too fickle to predict, but Jean Dixon’s words rang a gong of truth to me. She claims this is the time we came to witness. This is the mission we came to accomplish – hold on to our faith, our calm, our belief in ourselves and our future. Keep our hearts open along with our eyes. We are here to witness and to stand strong.
The Great Awakening
I know this period of distraction and anxiety has been difficult for all of us, but if we can view it as a process, a divine evolutionary moment for the human race, we can take comfort and strength and fulfill the roles we came here to play.
To that end, it can be helpful to view our president as an agent of fate, the great destroyer whose soul is loving enough to bear the weight of our blame. I know that’s a leap when we watch the man rant and rave, threaten, intimidate, destroy people’s lives and disrupt the world order, all in the persona of a narcissistic, ego-maniacal, infantile and sadistic wannabe dictator. But somebody had to break up the status quo. Even his war against Iran has a positive side, hailing the end of the age of oil. Clean energy technology will fuel our future and bring the Earth back into balance.
So let’s return to Uranus and the events that lead up to April 25th.
Uranus is one of the co-rulers of Aquarius, the other being Saturn. In our current paradigm, Saturn is associated with patriarchy, control, domination, and a hierarchical organization of society. But that is not Saturn’s real function. Rather it is to bring us the experiences we need – the challenges, limitations, sometimes frustrations – that force us to take a look at ourselves, make adjustments and take responsibility for ourselves and our impact on others. In other words, Saturn is about maturing.
When Saturn made its conjunction with Neptune at 0 Aries, it signaled to the world that our adolescence had reached its expiration date, and it was time to grow up, to become Spiritual Adults and step into mastery, autonomy and agency, all synonyms for sovereignty.
Right now we’re going through some harsh growing pains and we will face more challenges that can strengthen our core selves, or break us. Below is a list of dates and planetary aspects that can help us grow:
On April 8th Mars in Pisces is sextile Uranus in Taurus., both at the final degree of their signs. Sextiles are activators, Mars is aggressive, Uranus is explosive and brings us unexpected events. It’s as if Mars is blowing a horn announcing, with pomp, the upcoming Uranus ingress. These are two highly energized planets that could prompt the unstable to behave irrationally.
On April 12th, Mars will conjunct Neptune. Perhaps Neptune will dissipate some of Mars’ intensity, but the combination speaks to the Spiritual Warrior, the one who holds onto their values, defends and protects the vulnerable and stands for justice.
The sign of Aries falls in the USA 4th House, reminding us of our origins and our collective experience as a family. Our natal Chiron is the sole occupant of this house, indicating how much we have been wounded and need healing.
April 14th – Mercury at the end of Pisces sextile Uranus. Again these are the 29th degrees of their signs, where the messages of these signs. Intensify. With Uranus elevating Mercury, we may be blessed with insight.
April 16 Mercury is conjunct Neptune while Mars is sextile Pluto. There’s an inevitability to this day with Pluto involved, but there is also the spiritualizing influence of Neptune, reminding us that we are all in this together.
On April 19th things heat up with Mars, god of war, aggression, belligerence and conflict conjunct Saturn in Aries. Saturn may throw up some barriers, or it may manifest more conflict. I can’t predict, but in traditional astrology, these two planets were considered “malefics,” their combined energies potentially bad omens with negative consequences. We can soften the blow by remaining calm and keeping our hearts wide open.
Interestingly, Mercury joins this conjunction on the 20th. It’s a good time to be the witness, clear our minds of negative thoughts and watch for new themes emerging.
On April 25th, the Sun squares Pluto as Uranus crosses the threshold into Gemini. There’s an element of fate here not only with Sun/Pluto, but with Sedna and Venus greeting Uranus at the door. Sedna is a water goddess and the keeper of our spiritual path while Venus represents the feminine energy, the counterpoint to Mars. This is a good omen, indicating the importance of balancing our lives and our patriarchal society with feminine values. Venus will be active through the end of the month, sextile Neptune on the 26th, trine Pluto on the 28th and square the North Node on the 29th.
Uranus will occupy Gemini until August of 2032 when it begins its transition into Cancer. While in Gemini, however, it will be focused on shifting our paradigm, waking us all up, one at a time, to an awareness of our lifetime conditioning, liberating us from false beliefs and easing us into a sense of our Oneness with All That Is.
This will be a highly energized shift. Our nervous systems will get another download, all with the intention to elevate our frequency. According to Jean Dixon, Joy will be the prevailing emotion of the future. Imagine what that could be like, living in joy! We can start practicing now!
