“The better we know ourselves, the less we will fear change.” Gregg Braden
Change is coming. How will we handle it? Are we even equipped? According to Gregg Braden we have been engineered, not just to handle change, but to master it. In his own words, “We’re human by design. We are the result of an intentional act of creation. We are the products of an intelligent form of life.”
Gregg is not talking about Genesis. He means that we have been genetically engineered by an advanced, extraterrestrial species with the knowledge of DNA fusion and gene splicing. The implications of this statement are profound. They challenge our science, our religion, our philosophy, our consensus beliefs. Indeed they carry the weight to shift our paradigm. And shift we must, if we are to meet the challenges of the next decade. If this intrigues you, it’s all in his book Human by Design. I warn you that on Amazon the paperback is selling for $78, but if you go to Hay House, you can get the ebook for $20. It’s worth every penny. You can also watch a video preview on YouTube.
As Gregg says, “We’re facing the problems of the 21st century with 19th century beliefs.” Albert Einstein declared, “No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.” That, in a nutshell, is why we must evolve.
Gregg Braden is a multidimensional scientist. He’s a geologist, a mystic, an archeologist, a philosopher and a wise soul. He has devoted his life to mystery, traveling the world seeking answers to the big questions: Who are we? Where did we come from? Why are we here? He is a prolific writer – some of his books are listed in the “Resources” section of my website. He is a tireless trekker, leading trips into the Peruvian Andes, the Tibetan Himalayas – wherever there might be new information or ancient wisdom. In his quiet moments he pours over the latest scientific research. He lectures all over the world bringing good news about our origins, replacing old scientific beliefs with the latest discoveries, and seeking to reunite science and spirituality into a meta-paradigm.
I discovered Gregg about four years ago through his series “Missing Links” on Gaia TV. I immediately read his books, attended some seminars and eagerly devoured his wisdom. Treat yourself to the first episode of “Missing Links” on YouTube. He will open your mind to astounding possibilities. There are three whole seasons on Gaia.
I can’t really do his work justice in this space, but here are a few teasers:
There is evidence that our species has walked this planet for over 200,000 years. Artifacts testify to prior civilizations with advanced technology.
Darwin’s theory of evolution breaks down when it comes to humans. Nature is revealing the fundamental truth that survival does not derive from competition, but rather cooperation.
DNA tells us that we are genetically engineered, that two chromosomes were fused to create an “ensouled” species.
19th and 20th century science led us to believe that the universe was a random event; that we are insignificant specks on an outer arm of the Milky Way Galaxy, which is only one of two trillion; that we don’t matter. The universe in general has no meaning, basically because science doesn’t seek it. We are born, we die and in between we scramble and compete for scarce resources. Religion tells us we are flawed, rejected, punished beings. Psychology reveals our complexes and dysfunctions. Philosophy has given up on meaning and purpose.
Pretty bleak picture. No wonder there is so much fear and despair, anger and hopelessness. How amazing to learn that we have been engineered to evolve and awaken our potential abilities! And beyond that, the timing being perfect, we are faced with problems we can’t solve with beliefs that restrict our powers. We must evolve to meet this challenge. We must expand our consciousness to see a much bigger picture that will reveal the very solutions that are unavailable to us now.
We have been neurologically wired for extraordinary abilities and endowed with the capacity for compassion, empathy, intuition, self-healing and much more. As Gregg says,
“To honestly acknowledge these possibilities opens us to a paradigm that shifts the way we feel about ourselves and view our place in the universe. With this shift, we free ourselves from a paradigm of lonely insignificance and move into one of possessing a rare heritage that we are only beginning to explore.
So how do we fully awaken these capabilities in our lives today? According to Gregg, one of the ways is through developing heart/brain coherence. This practice creates the context for awakening. In addition it has many health benefits:
Passive Benefits:
1. It produces 1300 positive biochemical reactions in the body, triggering the release of anti-aging enzymes, boosting the immune system, promoting restoration and regeneration of our cells.
2. It strengthens our connection to intuition, compassion, and self-healing. By bringing the heart and the brain into resonance, we activate a highly creative state in which both sides of the brain work together.
Active Benefits:
1. We develop the resilience to self-regulate, to handle intense emotions, to integrate change and to respond to stress with self-healing. This leads to self-confidence, improved relationships, inner peace.
2. We begin to function with maximum efficiency – improved brain function in a balanced body – that enables us to make good choices.
3. We gain access to a Gamma wave state, one of higher awareness, super focus, super perception and memory, super cognitive enhancement and the ability to experience non-dual consciousness.
In other words, the simple heart/brain coherence technique can prepare our consciousness for awakening and enlightenment which is the next stage of our evolution. Now I consider that great news!
If you missed my post on how to do this technique, go back and check it out. Give yourself this gift. It will change your life.
