I have been writing consistently this year about energy frequency and reality creation. That’s because we aren’t going to change our reality by becoming an adversary within it, nor by exercising our resistance to change. This only locks us into continual conflict. We have to escape our paradigm of limited choices and transmute duality into plurality. Right now we’re locked into an “I’m right/You’re wrong” duel between opposites that has resulted in war after war after war.
Duality in recorded history has been confrontive, competitive and conflict-ridden. That’s because we’re focusing on a low frequency interpretation of duality. When we raise our vibration – the frequency at which we broadcast our psychic energy – we see things differently. We appreciate the paradox of polarity and seek balance between the extremes.
On June 14th, Flag Day, the president will celebrate his 80th Birthday, an event highlighted by the manifestation of his fantasies of bare-chested gladiators wrestling in a cage. It’s a sign of hitting rock bottom, much like Rome as it degenerated into corruption and cruelty, forcing gladiators to fight for their lives for the entertainment of the wealthy class.
It’s unfathomable to the majority of us, and that’s because we are evolving out of the ego-driven, competitive phase of our evolution. Most of us are appalled at the loss of justice, kindness, compassion, concern for the whole of humanity and the planet that sustains us. We can witness this shift of values in the approval polls. The fascist regime is losing support despite all the lies, and all the propaganda, and all the money funneled into a desperate attempt to stay in power.
It’s a losing battle because the paradigm that supports domination, conflict and greed is losing ground as we evolve into a paradigm that operates on a higher frequency. Our values are shifting. Our hearts are opening. Our eyes are witnessing. Whether we are aware of it, or not, our energy is expanding. Our planet and everything on it, is being bombarded by cosmic rays. Our Solar System is passing through the Photon Belt, an 11,000-year journey of increased evolutionary pressure.
The Sun is highly active, sending up flares of electromagnetic energy that flow toward us on solar winds. We can actually see this energy as Northern Lights. It penetrates our bodies 24-7, assisting our awakening, altering our DNA, even reactivating the 24th chromosome that was edited out of our DNA millennia ago.
We see this in our Astrology, a concentration of energies in fiery Aries, an epic conjunction of Uranus with Sedna in Gemini and the energetic shift of all three transpersonal planets out of Water and Earth signs into Fire and Air. These are activating energies, as are the daily stresses of dealing with fear, anxiety, belief, confusion, uncertainty; watching the horror-shadows of humanity’s dark side temporarily flooding our reality and confounding us on all levels.
We are bombarded with emails, texts, advertising, pleas for donations, sickening news, and a climate of greed, cruelty, and terror. These stresses are building energy as well, fueling our evolution, enhancing our stamina, stretching our resilience, opening our eyes and forcing us to let go into a higher frequency. We are gathering strength for a quantum leap.
This is where the bigger picture comes in. if we can view our external reality as a cosmic feature film, complete with villains and grift, we can read the metaphors of corruption and see the consequences of losing our moral compass. We can see what we no longer want, get in touch with what really matters to us. While fearful leader hogs the headlines, humanity is quietly waking up. This is a galactic event, one so amazing that it is celebrated throughout the Universe. Humanity is waking up! Come see the miracle of ascendance!
That’s the bigger picture. What stands in our way is resistance, a reluctance to move forward, because it’s the Unknown! But we can be the pioneers and explorers finding our way to the next discovery. We can invest our minds and hearts in the future we want to create. And here’s the miracle about frequency. When we lift into a higher frequency, certain realities can no longer manifest. The climate is hostile to hatred, bigotry, separation, conflict and war. They drop away. We don’t need to combat corruption in its low frequency. That’s like wrestlers in a cage. Instead we can let them disappear quietly from our reality as we awaken and integrate energy that can lift us out of that reality. We can be present to a climate of love and support.
To Do List
I promised in the last brief post, as I was succumbing to a three week hell of coughing, to bring you more information about Pluto, and I will definitely give you another piece of this cosmic puzzle, but I want to cover other events as well.
For instance, we close out May with the second Full Moon of the Month and it’s a doozy, with both luminaries in strategic spots. Uranus gives us another evolutionary boost. Then we’ll take a look at June, get Pluto’s good news, and drop a hint about our next big shift in July.
Full Moon in Sagittarius
On May 31st the Moon was at 10 degrees of Sagittarius, within two degrees of our natal Ascendant. Sagittarius is about aspiration, imagination and a passion to travel into the unknown. Our forefathers envisioned a society of freedom in which we could live our lives as we choose. We envisioned space travel and sent men to stand on the Moon. As we have completed one full Pluto cycle, it’s time to build a new vision of a new world without war, famine, sick and starving children, marginalized segments of society, or an assault on our environment. With a Sagittarius Ascendant, we are dreamers. It’s one of our strengths – conceiving more perfect realities. In other words we are being stimulated by the Moon to feel into a new reality, and to activate our imagination as we envision the future of our dreams. This is key because the vision itself can bring us into the frequency of this reality and our psychic energy has the power to manifest it.
Opposite the Moon, our Sun is conjunct our natal Uranus and Gonggong in the USA 6th House. These two planets will try to teach us how to navigate change, to absorb surprises, to manage our energy frequencies and avoid overwhelm. We all have been driven to overwhelm at some point or another, but it’s important to let the energy build, rather than waste it in emotional outbursts which will only drag us back down into a frequency in which we feel like victims and want to cage-fight reality.
All of this requires discipline. This subject came up in the three-week lecture and meditation class I just finished. I learned that discipline provides us with protection. It’s a matter of keeping our oath to ourselves.
How many times have we decided to make a change in our lives, vowing to lose weight, or eat a healthier diet, or meditate with regularity, only to let ourselves down because our discipline muscle has become flaccid. When we make a commitment to something and actually do it, we become more sure of ourselves, stronger, more resilient. We learn to trust ourselves to follow through. It could be something as simple as I will make my bed every morning, or get more sleep, or meditate every morning for 20 minutes. – anything that will actually create a positive change in our life.
The asteroid Pallas Athena forms a T-Square with the Full Moon axis, emphasizing strength and wisdom. She’s only two degrees away from the planet of discipline, Saturn, which supports our growth through responsibility and challenge. Saturn is making its way toward a conjunction with our natal Chiron in Aries in our 4th House. This is the House of our childhood environment, our experience of being parented, our conditioning, our wounds which reflect the karma we came here to heal. This Full Moon is giving us an opportunity to examine our beliefs, see what still tethers us to old resentment or trauma.
When we apply this to our nation, we see the wounds we have left in our 250-year wake, the genocide of Native Americans, the importation of Black slaves, the distorted bigotry over difference, the crimes we have committed against humanity, and continue to commit, imprisoning and demonizing innocent immigrants in squalid conditions, murdering unsuspecting citizens with no consequences. We’re going to have to pay the Piper at some point.
I get the feeling that’s coming up next year when Pluto conjuncts our natal South Node, forcing us to face the horrors of our dark past.
Venus is conjunct Hygeia in Cancer in our 7th House, reminding us of the importance of love and beauty to our health. We have Jupiter conjunct Venus in our natal chart. We can watch Venus climb the night sky this summer. Love is ascending.
Uranus and Gonggong
I mentioned that the Sun is conjunct natal Uranus and GG, for short, in the 6th House – our house of routine, habits, hygiene, daily life including work. Uranus provides us flashes of insight, but also unexpected surprises which can throw us off balance. With Gonggong in conjunction, we can get emotional, act out, throw hissy fits, plunge into despair, rage against our fate. None of that is helpful. When life throws us a curve, we need to stay calm, quite a challenge with high energy Uranus electrifying our nervous systems.
If you think back to the piece I wrote on our emotions being feedback for the state of our psyche, which in turn draws to us experiences that resonate with our energy frequency, it is obvious how important it is to seek and maintain coherence. So how do we do that?
The answer is a combination of presence, along with the ability to step back and witness rather than react, and centering our consciousness in our hearts. Coherence means that the mind and heart are in resonance, we are fully invested in the present moment, and we have the power to choose how to respond in a healthy way.
The process is easy. Pause. Close your eyes and sit in silence. Breathe through your heart, as if your nose were in the center of your chest. Almost immediately you will feel calmer. Then focus on a positive emotion such as gratitude, caring, appreciation or compassion. This brings the mind and heart together. Feel that emotion deeply and think about all the things you are grateful for, or the ones you care about, etc. Now you are in your power and once in coherence, you are protected from the negative effects of a hasty decision.
We continually ask ourselves how we can change the current nightmare reality. This is the way. We take responsibility for our coherence. We stay centered and calm. We create an energy field that radiates love. There’s enough chaos in our world. We don’t want to contribute more.
Uranus and Sedna
Transiting Uranus made an exact conjunction with the dwarf planet Sedna on May 24th and still is within one degree. Alan Clay suggests that Sedna is the planet responsible for the appearance of AI. If that is true, the conjunction with Uranus carries a high impact, because Uranus is co-ruler of Aquarius and governs, or rather inspires, scientific innovation. In the sign of Gemini no less, where we gather information, communicate ideas, form opinions.
When I first heard about the original purpose of AI – a soulless existence where we hook our minds to a central computer and transform into Borg, I was against it. My version of the Singularity is one of spiritual awakening to our Oneness, not letting our Earth die as we plunder her resources to feed the ravenous maw of Capitalism. Nevertheless, I recently heard an idea that took root in my subconscious and began to germinate a new vision. It was pointed out that our consensus reality reflects our consciousness, therefore AI is another reflection, not of mechanization, but of our own evolving consciousness.
When I think of it that way, I realize the challenge for both AI and our own minds, is to use them responsibly. If AI is the reflection, then the clarity of our minds, along with the wisdom of our hearts and the values we cherish, will determine the way AI manifests in our world. We all are responsible for the direction it takes.
But there’s another dimension we continually overlook. Our planet is evolving along with us, and this is emphasized by the presence of Ceres in Taurus, only three degrees away from Sedna. Currently we approach this change with fear or denial – either we envision doom as the planet overheats, or we dismiss climate change as a hoax. However we view it, the degradation of our environment reflects back to us the abuse and neglect of the very climate that was meant to sustain us.
Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury. The USA natal Mercury, which rules Gemini as well as Virgo, is in the 8th House, associated on the mundane level with money, inherited assets as well as combined assets of the relationships we form in the 7th House. On a deeper level, the 8th House is associated with Scorpio and Pluto. It draws us both into the mysteries within and to the unknown without. Our natal Mercury is in Cancer and as I write, Jupiter is exactly conjunct natal Mercury, stimulating thought, questions and curiosity, working with Uranus to expand our perception. The message is loud and clear: Wake up!
As for Sedna, she lies at the far boundary of our solar system. Her myth is one of transformation. There are many versions of this myth, and we must remember that most of our mythology was filtered through a patriarchal lens in which the female is always the culprit.
Sedna was a free-thinking Inuit maiden who refused the advances of suitors, preferring autonomy. One day she meets a mysterious being who lures her away from her home and takes her to his dwelling in the mountains. Turns out that he was Crow in disguise. Sedna is educated in the ways of magic. She undergoes the initiation of the shaman.
Her father, however, wants to find her and return her to her “rightful” place within the tribe. One day while Crow is away, Sedna’s father appears and insists she climb into his boat to escape. As he rows away, Crow discovers this treachery and whips the sea into turmoil. Sedna’s father is frightened and in order to save his life, he throws his daughter off the boat. But Sedna hangs on to the side, so daddy dearest smashes her fingers with his oar until they break off and fall into the sea, where they transform into diverse sea creatures. Sedna sinks as well, and is transformed into a sea goddess.
The myth is about freeing oneself from immersion in collective tradition, following a path of initiation, and finally letting go of the past, allowing transformation and transcendence. It’s also about the abandonment of the Feminine by the patriarchy. Primarily it’s a lesson in liberation. To ascend we have to let go.
Pluto and the End of War!
Pluto in extreme declination is a dark night of the soul for the world – a moment when the energies of the underworld become dominant.”
This quote is from Rosie Finn’s book, Persephone’s Revolution. Rosie did extensive research into the movement of Pluto above and below the ecliptic. She discovered whenever Pluto moved “out of bounds,” to the north, beyond 23.44 degrees of the ecliptic, violence emerged, everything from serial murders to war.
As she points out, Pluto is the engine of evolution, eradicating the old to make room for the new, creating death so that new life can emerge. “The Pluto cycle . . . is the transformation from one life to another, from one culture to another, from one paradigm to another, from one world to another.”
Rosie integrated Pluto’s mythology, which involves Ceres and Persephone as well as the seasonal cycles on Earth, with strenuous research into the relationship between Pluto’s cycle and the cycles of history. Truly it’s a monumental work which I will attempt to distill into a few paragraphs.
Pluto’s cycle begins with Pluto in extreme declination to the North, which she labels “Times of Power Abuse.” She sees it as coinciding with Persephone’s abduction into the Underworld where she dwells in the world of shadow and suffering. She claims that Pluto out of bounds to the north is when the dark lord rises from the Underworld to wreak havoc in our world. This happens every 248 years or so.
Pluto announced his arrival in our world on January 12th, 2020. In February 2022 Pluto returned to its natal position in the USA chart, closing out one phase of our experiment in democracy and initiating another. We are well aware of his work as we watch our precious nation crumble under the direction of a mad man with grievance to spare. As Pluto completed its transit through Capricorn, energy twisted into control and domination. Pluto entered Aquarius in 2023 signaling the end of the patriarchal paradigm and a return of power to the people.
Currently Pluto is retrograde, having come within one degree of the USA South Node and will make three conjunctions in 2027. On the one hand we have karma to resolve. On the other we have an opportunity for a fresh start. We can’t go back to the way things were. Pluto forbids that. Our only way is forward toward a rebirth, a new form and an awakened new world.
I won’t go into the extensive history that goes back to the Hittites, but will mention only one event when Pluto was out of bounds to the north, from 1938 when Hitler was coming into power, through World War II and up to 1949 when we began to rebuild our society, strengthen our alliances and establish a new world order.
Rosie delineates four phases of Pluto’s cycle and backs them up with history, tracking the movement of Pluto from 0 degrees declination, i.e. its position on the ecliptic, to its extreme out of bounds to the north, the subsequent journey back to the ecliptic when Pluto begins to move south.
When Pluto is on the ecliptic and beginning its journey to the north, it is a time of Vision. When it goes out of bounds to the north, the phase is Abuse of Power. When it returns to the ecliptic and heads south, it begins the phase of Justice. Pluto then journeys toward its extreme to the south where the period of Reform begins.
So where are we now? Pluto is at 22:57 south declination, approaching the 23:44 boundary where it goes out of bounds. We are in the Reform phase which lasts from 2026 to 2031. During this phase there is a rectification in the balance of power. The People are no longer willing to tolerate the status quo and will stand up to the tyrants. The Reform time leads to a renaissance in art “as well as the radical, out-of-the-box thinking that great works require. And with Pluto in Aquarius we can expect amazing scientific innovation.
Sounds like good news, but according to Rosie, there is even better news. The extreme periods of declination are coming to a close for the next few thousand years. This is due to the changing tilt of the Earth. As the axis tilt changes, so does its relationship to the orbit of Pluto. Eventually the orbits will align enough to make it impossible for Pluto to exceed 23+ degrees declination. Remember that the path of the ecliptic is the virtual path of the Sun as seen from Earth.
Rosie declares that the period we are in now, with Pluto out of bounds “from 2025 to 2035, will be the dwarf planet’s last period of extreme declination for thousands of years.”
We still have to move through the period of Reform in which there will be struggle, turmoil, revolution and rebellions, but it will lead to a period of reform and a peace that will last for thousands of years. In other words, our dreams of peace will finally manifest. Wars will fade from our reality.
The Month of June
Compared to other months, June is relatively quiet. On June 12th Mercury enters its shadow – the early degrees to which he will return during his retrograde that begins on June 29th at 26:15 Cancer. It won’t turn direct until July 24th, possibly creating a bit of havoc in communication. It certainly will not be a great time for peace talks. Our nation’s birthday celebration may run into a few snags. But the purpose of Mercury retrogrades is integration. It’s a time to rethink, re-evaluate, remember, retreat, all the “re” words that ask us to pause and review. Mercury in Cancer will focus on family, emotions, conditioning, safety and fears. It will be a good time to reassess our emotional health. Are we living in fear, or love? These two emotions generate two different realities.
Chiron will finally leave Aries and move into Taurus on the 19th – Juneteenth. This is an opportunity to ground ourselves, to take time for sensual pleasure, to enjoy nature and beauty, to appreciate the many blessings we have. Venus and Jupiter come together on June 9th at 25:46 Cancer, one degree away from our natal Mercury.
But the big event of the month will be the nodal axis square to Uranus. We can think of the nodes as our path of evolution, the north node the direction in which we evolve, the south node where we leave behind the digested experience of lifetimes and harvest their value. This is an opportunity to jump timelines.
Uranus in Gemini will help liberate us from our early conditioning, causing us to reassess our reality. As Ari Wolfe said in a lecture about this event, “The further we are from knowledge of our Self, the more dim our awareness of reality.” In other words, self-delusion blinds our perception of the world we live in. As we let go of the story we have been telling ourselves, we expand our perception of the truth.
It’s not enough to sift through the contents of our lives, we must question the context, the paradigm or belief system under which we live. Our very paradigm has driven us to destroy our environment because we haven’t realized our symbiosis with the planet. Our paradigm has marginalized and mistreated people of different races or ethnicities. It has spread propaganda about the role of women that damages the self-worth of every young girl. Coupled with capitalism it has caused an enormous chasm between the absurdly wealthy and those in survival mode. It pits us against one another in a mad race for wealth and power, increasing our anxiety and compromising our health. It is a paradigm of separation and we all suffer from it.
Uranus in Gemini trine Pluto in Aquarius will change how we think about our planet, our society and each other. The two are collaborating to alter our perceptions. Neptune in Aries, sextile to both Uranus and Pluto, is dissolving our assumptions, erasing boundaries, clearing patriarchal attitudes about the masculine archetype and inaugurating a new cycle of spiritual growth.
Next Month we will look at the shift of the nodal axis from Virgo/Pisces to Leo/Aquarius. So make the most of these last Virgo days for self-examination. Take an honest look at Neptune issues – are there addictions that block authenticity, delusions about the self, escapist activities that distance us from each other and from our true selves. Separation is our enemy, not each other.
